Aegean is a Greek airline company, the second largest in the country, operating flights to 33 various destinations around the globe. The company was founded in 1987. Initially, the company offered only VIP flights; in 1999, it offered its first passenger flight. Aegean operates regular daily flights from Ben-Gurion International Airport to Athens, as well as charter flights to various Greek destinations, including Larnaca, Crete, Salonika, Rhodes, and Corfu, operated by an Israeli wholesaler during the summer.
